影片讲述了大学教授阿尔玛（茱莉亚·罗伯茨 饰）发现自己正处于个人生活和职业生涯的十字路口。因为一名优秀的学生玛吉（阿尤·艾德维利 饰）对她的同事汉克（安德鲁·加菲尔德 饰）提出性侵指控，她自己的黑暗过去亦卷土重来，并面临着个人和职业生涯的抉择。
电影《猎杀之后》将于10月10日在纽约和洛杉矶影院首映，并于10月17日在北美全面上映。
