影片由冯小刚监制，宗海英执导，张冀任剧本监制，向尧惟、吴慧玲、彭蕴睿、孙语晨编剧，佟丽娅、王皓、王智、王丽坤、吴优主演，张慧雯、刘敏涛、喻恩泰、许君聪、周政杰出演。
根据官方剧情梗概，影片讲述了女主姜岚因见义勇为救下被施暴的女生，却被判过失杀人。在监外执行期间，与三个久违的闺蜜和一个无名小律师组成了“翻案小队”，共同踏上寻找真相之路。
